If you're running the latest version of Picture Keeper software for the Mac (version 1.0 b12), it is very simple to enable a backup of iPhoto's contents. Picture Keeper's menu is located at the very top of the Mac computer screen when it is running. You just need to Click on Options -> Advanced -> and then select the 'Add iPhoto' button. This duplicates the effect of the steps outlined below.
How can you tell the which version of Picture Keeper software you have?
Just Click on 'Picture Keeper' at the top left corner of your desktop and select 'About Picture Keeper'. A window will open to show the software version number. If you don't have the latest version (1.0 b12), please contact Support and we will send directions on how to get the latest version.
In the event you have Mac software version 1.0 b10 or if you've moved or renamed your iPhoto Library to something default of /Users/username/Pictures/iPhoto Library, follow the steps below to enable iPhoto backup.
The slides below show how to configure Picture Keeper to work with iPhoto. It's really pretty simple. Also, if you need any assistance, please contact Support. We'll walk you through the steps in under 2 minutes!
The instructions below make references to 'Right Clicking'. If you have an Apple mouse that has no Right Click function, you can substitute <Control> click instead, that is, hold down on the Control key while clicking the mouse.
